Well, we recently bought a quarter of a steer from our friends Jackie and Marc (and baby Amos!). Paul was a little hesitant to buy it-will it taste good, is it worth the money, if you know Paul, he's always like this. (Thankfully, because I'm anything but cautious when it comes to something I want to do! haha) So, last night we made our first dinner with the meat Paul picked up from Fisher's Meat last Saturday.

If his face is any indication how happy he was with his burger than you would know how pleased he was with it!
I'm so happy that he's happy with the meat because I really enjoy helping out friends and buying locally grown products. Makes my heart happy--kinda like the Grinch's heart at the end of How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
